glassanimals Fan Rewievs British indie rock band Glass Animals finally confirmed a US 2017 tour that will start in April 2017. This band appeared in Oxford, England. Their music is a mix of various styles, such as pop, rock, etc. The team was formed by the old buddies Dave Bayley, Drew MacFarlane, Edmund Irwin-Singer, and Joe Seaward. During studying at the university, the boys put out their first EP “Leaflings” (2012). After that, the band toured around the UK, playing in the clubs. A year later, they produced their second EP that had the equal name as the band. “Glass Animals’” represented the vagarious style of their music. The band had got a significant impact by psychedelic music and the passions for natural science. Therefore, these two guidelines are reflected in their songs. The second EP includes the song called “Psylla”, which is a name of a sap-sucking insect. The song also includes some elements of psychedelics by using strong reverb and gravelly vocals. The song “Woozy” also contains a trip-hop motive (the rap verse by Jean Deaux). The band managed to draw the attention of the famous producer Paul Epworth who has collaborated with such singers as Adele, Coldplay, Paul McCartney, and Bruno Mars. He signed the music team to his label “Wolf Tone” and produced their first full-value album “Zaba”, which was strongly influenced by William Steig’s kids’ book “The Zabajaba Jungle”. The tracks on the album included the sounds of tribal drums and nature, recorded by the bandleader David Bayley. Critics have highly appreciated “Zaba” for its original mix of R&B and electronics. They have also noted that the album reminds of the sounds of Jamie xx and Flying Lotus. The album topped the Australian music charts and included the singles: “Black Mambo”, “Gooey”, “Pools”, and “Hazey”. The original sound of this band is continues bringing “Glass Animals” the new lovers as well as the desired gigs with the famous bandsmen. “Glass Animals” has repeatedly appeared as a headliner and warmed up for such singers as St. Vincent, Metronomy, and Yeasayer. Glass Animals is on tour now.

Glass Animals invites you to join us at US Tour. Coming spring 2017!

The intriguing mix of synth take, indie, and hip-hop impacts, Glass Animals are an Oxford, England-based band featuring singer/guitarist Dave Bayley, guitarist/keyboardist Used MacFarlane, bassist/keyboardist Edmund Irwin-Singer and drummer Joe Seaward. Bayley and Seaward ended up childhood friends, but decided not to start making music along until they finished classes. Bayley had been writing in addition to recording songs in his time, and ultimately drafted Seaward, MacFarlane and Irwin-Singer to learn with him. While these folks were still at university many people released their debut EP, Leaflings, in 2012. Nevertheless Bayley had planned to go to health school after graduation, Goblet Animals captured the attention connected with acclaimed producer Paul Epworth, who signed them to his / her label Wolf Tone with 2013 and released often the Glass Animals EP, including the single “Black Mambo. micron In 2014, the wedding band released their debut recording, Zaba, which blended electronic devices with indie guitar audio and was co-produced simply by Bayley and Epworth.
The way to Be a Human BeingGlass Pets spent much of the next 2 years touring the world and get together stories from the people they will encountered (which Bayley confidentially recorded on his phone). The particular band used these reports as lyrical inspiration for second album, which the group recorded in late 2015. The way to Be a Human Being, a concept recording with each song showing the story of a different figure, arrived in August 2016.
